The Hockey Club has been through many changes, the last one being in 1999 when Headington and Rover Cowley (previously Pressed Steel) merged to form Rover Oxford HC. The association with Rover ended when BMW started making the fab new minis although we still maintain links with the social club in their quest for a new facility that may well include hockey.
We are a very social club that takes it's hockey increasingly seriously. Our teams have steady improved since 1999 with our Ladies 1st XI enjoying two seasons in the EHL. Our men's teams have all been improving with 2005 seeing our best ever placings in the leagues.
If you really want a good standard of hockey or just some exercise and a
beer then we have the right team for you.
