The Stix Awards are a series of six exercises designed by England Hockey to measure individual skills to a national standard. We have added our own 'Star' rating to indicate each players score within the four grades: Cub: Up to 107 points Bronze: 108 to 134 points Silver: 135 to 159 points Gold: 160 or more points
In 2006 we introduced 'Mini Stix' for the U8 age group which are four modified exercises for the youngest players.
Everyone who completes the Award receives a certificate at our annual Presentation Evening held on the Saturday of the Festival weekend. Prizes are also awarded for the top score and most improved from the previous year.
Ed Braithwaite holds the best ever score of 173 achieved in March 2003
