Calling all 5 and 6 year olds!
Rover would like to start a (very) junior feeder group for our U8's on Sundays at Brookes 9.30-10.30 starting on January 3rd 2010. The emphasis will be on developing hand-eye co-ordination, footwork, balance and of course some hockey skills. Most of all it will be fun! We are offering FREE places next term to get the scheme going. We have sticks, but the children should have plenty of warm clothes, trainers and wear shin pads. The only thing we ask is that parents stay at the ground during the training session - at least until their child is confident to participate without them. It is not intended that these younger children will be involved in matches with other clubs.

We would also like this message to get into the local primary schools - so if there are any teachers out there, please feel free to get the message across. Call Nick on 01865-556422 if prospective parents have any questions.

6th September - Training starts
25th October - Half Term break
6th December - Last training and ‘Parents Challenge’
3rd January - Training resumes
14th February - Half Term break
4th April - Easter Day break
11th April - Last training date

Under 16's

Please come along to the U14 training on Sunday 6th, 13th and 20th September.  After this your training is on Wednesdays at Iffley Road starting on 23rd September.

Wear trainers (not studded boots).
You will need shin pads and a mouth guard.
Bring warm/wet weather clothing and a non-fizzy drink.
We can supply a stick.

There are changing rooms and toilets by the pitch.
